Hello there! It's Wednesday! Always a good thing.
As I mentioned last week, Technique Tuesday launched a lot of new stamps. Quite a few of them are by Ali Edwards. I've said it before, and I will say it again, I love Ali stamps. Since she's a scrapbooker, her stamps are super easy to use with layouts, and also with Project Life. They are perfect for the celebration of the everyday moments.

stamps: Technique Tuesday Life Banners + Life Circles + So Very Thankful / ink: Clearsnap Colorbox Pigment Ink, Tsukineko Memento Dye Ink / cardstock: Bazzill / patterned paper: Jillibean Soup / tag: Elle's Studio / thread: DMC / pen: Sharpie Poster Paint / other: typewriter |
I so love these photos of my son Luke spinning. I wrote about
my experience trying my hand at panning photos before. The photos are not the best, but we ended up having so much fun. We laughed and laughed! I've been wanting to scrap about this: one of the few moments in life when I'm just living in the moment. Rare, but awesome!
The banner (from
Life Banners) was simply stamped in bright yellow ink, cut out, adhered in the center. Then stitched on with some white thread.

His hair is not blue. Really. I'm just bad at this panning thing. I obviously did not get the exposure right. I am just glad to have captured that sweet, happy, smiling face. |
For the circle, I used the "yes" stamp from the
Life Circles set. I stamped it navy blue, then I stitched around the outer circle with white thread, and the word "yes" with yellow thread. The heart is from the
So Very Thankful set. Just stamped, cut out, and glued on. I drew that white arrow on the photo with a Sharpie poster paint pen.
Thanks for coming by!
